Mr. Duco Sickinge - CEO Telenet - Manager of the year 2011

The readers of the weekly magazine Trends and the jury have elected Mr. Duco Sickinghe, Manager of the year 2011. The 53-year-old CEO of Telenet was already five times nominated.

The Sustainability aspect also prevailed this year in the choice of the candidate. The past ten years Sickinghe brought Telenet a period of innovation and growth. Telenet has been accepted to both the Dow Jones Sustainability Europe Index and the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index, in September 2011. Telenet is the only Belgian company and the only cable operator in these renowned indices. In the sustainability study of 2011 Telenet received a score of 75 points (on a total of 100).
